CONSERVATORY TODAY

Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory is a leading music institution in the Republic of Kazakhstan, blending a rich tradition with modern educational practices. Since its founding in 1944, the conservatory has trained generations of highly skilled professionals in the field of music, many of whom have become prominent performers and cultural figures representing Kazakhstan on the international stage.

In 2009, the conservatory integrated into the Bologna Process, aligning its programs with international standards and creating a more flexible educational model tailored to the needs of individual students. Today, we offer a comprehensive range of programs from bachelor's to PhD degrees.

The conservatory continuously expands its educational impact by offering unique programs. Additional qualifications, such as soloist, music critic, organist, and audiovisual manager, significantly enhance the career prospects of our graduates, making them sought after in various fields of music and the arts.

Since 2019, the conservatory has been a full member of the Association of European Conservatories (AEC), affirming its status as a leading educational institution in Central Asia. We have established cooperation agreements with conservatories in Russia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Norway, Spain, South Korea, China, Turkey, and Azerbaijan, opening up new opportunities for our students and faculty.

Our modern facilities include a Grand Concert Hall, Chamber and Small Concert Halls, spacious classrooms, a library and media center, and state-of-the-art musical instruments from top brands like Steinway & Sons and Yamaha. These resources provide everything necessary for our students' creative and professional development.

Our graduates are the pride of Kazakhstan, with their achievements recognized far beyond our borders. The Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory remains committed to its mission of nurturing the next generation of talented musicians who will represent Kazakhstan with distinction on the world stage.
