What is Türkiye Bursları?

Türkiye Bursları is a scholarship program through which foreign students can study for free in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs at 50 leading universities in Turkey.

Türkiye Bursları scholarship is a full scholarship, which means it covers all expenses of the student, including tuition and accommodation.

In addition to this, scholarship recipients gain access to exclusive seminars, internships, career orientation programs, and other activities.

One distinctive feature of Türkiye Bursları is that before starting actual studies at a Turkish university, scholarship recipients are required to complete a one-year free Turkish language course.

What does the Türkiye Bursları scholarship cover?

Duration: 1 year of Turkish language courses + 4-6 years of university education (depending on the program duration)

·         Free tuition;

·         Monthly stipend of $100;

·         Return flight ticket;

·         Medical insurance;

·         Free accommodation;

·         Yearly Turkish language course.

To apply for Türkiye Bursları, you need to:

1.      Register on the website;

2.      Choose the desired academic programs (up to 12 programs);

3.      Submit the application and upload the following documents:

·         Copy of passport;

·         Passport-sized photograph;

·         High school diploma or degree certificate;

·         Academic transcripts;

·         Results of final exams at the last educational institution attended;

·         Results of international exams such as GRE, GMAT, SAT, DELF, YDS, and YÖS (if required by the university);

·         IELTS or TOEFL scores (for programs in English);

·         C1 exam results (for programs in Turkish);

·         Research project (for doctoral programs);

·         Any other certificates, diplomas, qualifications available.
