A curatorial hour on the topic: «Religion is the Spiritual Support for Education»

Today, in order to prevent extremism and terrorism a curatorial hour was held for the students of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory on the topic: «Religion is the Spiritual Support for Education».

The Head of the Sector of the "Center for the Study of Religious Problems" of the Almaty Department of Religious Affairs, Beksultan Mirbekovich Shatlan spoke at the meeting. The expert gave a lecture on the following topic: "Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism." During the meeting, the speaker told the audience about the features of destructive religious movements, psychological methods of involvement in extremist and terrorist organizations. The speaker also noted the importance of interfaith harmony for maintaining public security and prosperity of the state.

The participants received answers to their questions during the event. The meeting was held at the proper level and video records related to religious extremism were demonstrated.
