A delegation led by the Rector of the Kurmangazy KNС, A.Zhudebayev visited Tashkent as part of the celebration of the anniversary of the Uzbek State Conservatory


  

From June 9-11, 2022, large-scale events dedicated to the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Uzbek State Conservatory took place in Uzbekistan.

Numerous strategically important events for strengthening international cooperation were held in Tashkent during these solemn days. This is the first forum of Rectors of higher musical educational institutions of the SCO member states, where the plenary session harmoniously turned into the ceremony of signing the Tashkent Declaration within the framework of the forum. It was attended by well-known figures of musical art and culture including the rector of P.I.Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory A.S.Sokolov, the Rector of N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory A.N.Vasilyev, Rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Siyavush Kerimi, President of the Tehran Conservatory of Music Dr Behzad Moafi, Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music E.V. Kurakina, Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts A.K.Musakhadjayeva, Rector of the Kazakh National Conservatory A.A. Zhudebaev, Rector of the Tajik National Conservatory Mirali Dostizoda, Rector of the Turkmen National Conservatory R.Kh. Amangeldiyev, Rector of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory M.A. Begaliev

The concert of classical music in the Great Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan brought together outstanding musicians of our time on one stage. People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, world-famous violinist Aiman Kozhabekovna Musakhadjaeva, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kamoliddin Turdimuratovich Urinbaev, Honored Artist of Russia Alexei Nikolayevich Vasiliyev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gafurova Sayera and the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan performed S.Rakhmaninov's 3rd symphony and a triple concerto for violin, cello and piano by L.Beethoven. The professionalism and high performing level of the musicians aroused admiration among the audience.

The Open-air concert in front of the entrance to the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan impressed with the brightness of the scenery, the excellent organization and selection of the repertoire, the national flavor of the works performed, the harmonious combination of traditions and innovation. It was accompanied by the performance of the stars of classical and pop art of Uzbekistan. Among them are such domestic luminaries as Farukh Zakirov, young and talented performers, very popular among the people, graduates of the Conservatory Ozoda Nursaidova, Zhanibek Piyazov, a youth choir led by Husnutdinovam Yulduz Madatovna, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Bekzod Davronov and many others.

The international scientific and practical conference "Main trends in the development of music education and science" began with welcoming speeches by famous figures in the music world, Rectors of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tehran, Belarus, Turkmen, Tajik and other Conservatories. The deeply scientific format of the conference contained reports on topical issues of music education and science.

Moderator of the plenary meeting, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of the Conservatory of Uzbekistan S.A.Gafurova presented interesting and very informative speeches of the plenary session on the following topics: “On the experience of the Moscow Conservatory in adapting the latest reforms of higher education”, “The experience of the Moscow Conservatory as a response to the specifics of the modern musical culture of the world”, “Problems and prospects for the professional education of traditional musicians in the Azerbaijan National Conservatory”, “Experience and prospects of cooperation between the St. Petersburg and Tashkent Conservatories” and others.

The breakout sessions were devoted to reports covering a variety of issues of education and science - "The scientific potential of the Conservatory in the context of the musical science of Uzbekistan", "Performing interpretation and styling features in works of modern composers of Kazakhstan", "Fundamentals of the theory of monody", "Vocal art in aspect of the formation of a system of basic values”, “The art of Karakalpak storytellers and its educational value” and many others. At this conference, with a report on the topic: “Advisers on the path of personal growth of students (on the example of the faculty of Musicology, Art Management and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory)”, Ph.D., professor G.Zh.Musagulova

Within the framework of the anniversary events, the International Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Musical Art: History and Modernity", which provided a unique opportunity for young scientists to share their experience, discuss topical issues of performing arts and education, was held. The 2nd year Master students of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory Sh.Marsali with the topic of the report “Concert for bassoon and orchestra by I.N.Gummel: on the performer’s interpretation” and A.Isakhan “Music language of M.P.Mussorgsky in the Opera Genre” reported successfully, demonstrating their interest in the subject under study, participated in interesting debates, and exchanged opinions.

Arriving from different parts of the world, scientists, undergraduates and doctoral students visited the museum of national instruments, the laboratory of modern music, the organ hall, concert venues of the conservatory of Uzbekistan. All the guests visited the city-museum of Samarkand, immersed in the atmosphere of antiquity, enjoyed the history of numerous monuments. The organizers of the anniversary events showed their careful attitude to the traditions of the conservatory, great diligence in holding such an important event, demonstrated a rich research experience in solving the most pressing issues of modern science and creativity, and a high level of truly oriental hospitality.

A solid publication which includes articles by famous scientists of world renown, will serve as a necessary guide for beginners and acting teachers and specialists in the field of music education, it demonstrates a high and very solid level of the scientific event. It is worth noting the huge contribution of researchers and teachers of the country to the process of developing new and improving existing educational technologies and programs as well as to the creative development of young professionals of a high professional level. This is facilitated by the highly developed infrastructure of the Conservatory, equipped with advanced technologies. Of particular interest was the scientific and methodological journal of republican significance "MUSIQA" and the "EURASIAN MUSIC SCIENCE JORNAL" magazine eligible for SCOPUS. A coordinating role in the education of young scientists is played by both venerable scientists and the middle generation of the teaching staff.

A fruitful dialogue between teachers, performers and scientists from all over the world made it possible to find answers to the burning and exciting questions of modern musicology.
