A round table «The artistic and educational role of the piano in the development of a performing musician» was held

On April 11, the Chopin Chamber Hall hosted the Round Table «The Artistic and Educational Role of the Piano in the Development of a Performing Musician». The organizer of the round table was the Head of the «General Piano» Department, Associate Professor Oleksenko, Igor Vladimirovich.

The 1-2 year students of various specialties prepared presentations on this topic. In total, 13 reports were heard. The event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where after the reports, discussions in the form of a debate were held and teachers and students expressed their attitude to the «Compulsory piano» subject and the role of the piano as an instrument in their professional careers.
