A student from the University of Zurich (Switzerland) has arrived to study at the Kazakh Conservatory
We are pleased to announce that a student from our partner institution, the University of Zurich (Switzerland), has arrived at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
As part of the memorandum of cooperation between our institutions, Lucie Jeanneret will begin her studies in the third year of the Musicology and Composition Department. During the two semesters of the 2024–2025 academic year, Lucie will immerse herself in the study of Kazakhstan's traditional musical culture.
The staff of the International Department has already given her a tour of the Conservatory's facilities and arranged a meeting with the Head of the Musicology and Composition Department, Marlena Koilybayeva. During the discussion, they reviewed the academic plans and the opportunities available to the student.
We sincerely wish Lucie success in her studies and hope that her time in Kazakhstan will be filled with memorable experiences and valuable learning.
