Aravin, Yuri Petrovich was awarded the Otan Order

Today, by the decree of the President, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the researcher of Kazakh music, the scientist and the teacher Aravin ,Yuri Petrovich was awarded the Otan Order for his contribution to the popularization and development of national culture and musical art. Yuri Petrovich gained honor and respect thanks to his programs such as "Museum of Sounds" and "Small Anthology". Colleagues highly appreciate the famous musicologist who worked with them for many years at the Conservatory as a folk music expert.
