Conservatory Students Return from Leading International Universities

In the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, students of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory studied at leading international music institutions through various academic mobility programs. Talented students from different specialties took part in the mobility programs. These exchange programs help young musicians develop professional skills, broaden their cultural horizons, and strengthen international ties.
Third-year students of the “Art Management” program, Meiirman Kurmangaliyev and Madina Kuzeubai, studied at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow (founded in 1895). From February 10 to June 13, they studied subjects related to modern production and creative management in the arts.
Malika Adlet, a third-year student in “Conducting,” completed her Erasmus+ program at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków (founded in 1888). She studied under Professor Stanisław Krawczyński and took courses in conducting, art history, instrumentation, contemporary philosophy, and more.
Nuray Ryskulova and Zarina Ryskali, third-year violin students, studied at the Vigo Higher Conservatory of Music (founded in 1956) from January 25 to May 31. They took a range of courses in instrumental performance, chamber music, orchestra, and orchestral repertoire.
Aiym Iskakova and Riza Zhumagaliyeva, second-year students in choral conducting, studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (founded in 1949) from March 17 to June 5, based on a Memorandum of Cooperation. Their studies included choral solfeggio, vocal part learning, choral score reading, and choral class.
We are proud of our students who represented the Conservatory and Kazakhstan with dignity abroad. We thank our partner institutions for their hospitality, high level of teaching, and contribution to the development of young musicians.
