Conservatory Students Started their Studies in Vigo (Spain)

On February 2, 2025, third-year students from the String Instruments Department arrived in the picturesque Spanish city of Vigo to study under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at the partner university, the Conservatorio Superior De Música De Vigo.
As part of the program, 3rd year students, violinists, Nuray Ryskulova and Zarina Ryskali will study at one of Europe’s leading music conservatories, the Conservatorio Superior De Música De Vigo, with which the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory has a strong and lasting partnership. From January 25 to May 31, 2025, they will have the opportunity to improve their musical skills and deepen their knowledge of string instruments. This experience not only offers a chance to grow professionally but also provides a unique chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural life of Europe.
On February 13, 2025, as part of the collaboration between the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Spain and the Kazakh Conservatory, the students took part in a poetry evening dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Abai. The event, held at the National Library of Madrid, featured performances of works such as “Shygys bii" by A. Tolganbayev, “Kara Kemer” by K. Shildebayev and “Zhelsiz tunde zharyk ai” by Abai.
We’re so proud of Zarina and Nuray for the successful start to their studies abroad and wish them continued success in their academic and creative journeys, as well as many musical accomplishments along the way!
The Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory expresses its gratitude to the management, the Rector's office and the teaching staff of the the Conservatorio Superior De Música De Vigo, and especially the International Relations Coordinator, Prof. Jose L. Fernandez for high-quality and active cooperation between our organizations!
