Dialogue of Cultures: The Presentation of the International Educational Project of Three Conservatories Took Place
On June 24, 2025, an online presentation was held for a scholarly and methodological publication developed through international collaboration among three leading music universities of Central Asia and Russia: the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (Kazakhstan), the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan), and the L.V. Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory (Russia).
The project, titled “National Piano Schools,” is the result of extensive research and artistic-pedagogical work. For the first time, a unified multimedia edition presents contemporary piano works by composers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia — in score, scientific and methodological analysis, and video performances accessible via QR codes.
Key features of the publication:
· Scholarly articles and methodological commentaries;
· Contemporary works by 15 composers from three countries;
· Sheet music and video recordings of performances;
· Accessibility for educators, students, and the broader professional community.
Among the contributors are leading educators and researchers:
· From Kazakhstan: L. Akshpekova, G. Abdіrakhman, M. Bulembayeva, R. Dyusembayeva, A. Zakirova, A. Kalibayeva, D. Tokmurziyeva;
· From Uzbekistan: D. Islyamova, F. Mukhamedova, N. Stetsenko;
· From Russia: I. Vinogradov, A. Demchenko, N. Korepina, T. Levashova, N. Novokreshchenova, I. Polozova, M. Preobrazhenskiy.
The online presentation gathered representatives of academic and research communities, students, educators, and musicians from various countries.
