Discussion of Stephen R.Covey's Book: “The Seven Skills of Highly Effective People"
A series of events dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues in the scientific and information activity of Kurmangazy Conservatory library. This time, the library staff organized a discussion of the book by Stephen R.Covey "The Seven Skills of Highly Effective People" which covers the personality development issues. The online discussion which took place on the ZOOM platform was attended by the library's readers – the first-year students.
During the online conference, students shared their impressions of the book they had read and discussed each skill of Stephen R.Covey separately. Students of the Orchestral Сonducting specialty, Mukhtar Satkozy noted the importance of the book in the formation of leadership qualities among the younger generation. Students of the Dombra Department, Sovet Daniyar and Daulet Zhanshin said that if to apply the skills indicated in Stephen R.Covey's book daily, one can get into a list of successful people. Students of the Department of Kobyz and Button Accordion, Alima Erkin and Altynzhan Taupykova noted that such conferences organized by the library can instill in young people a love to reading and thanked the organizers.
