Doctoral Student of the Conservatory Participates in the International Project: Creative Sparks




The 1st year Art Management doctoral student, Imaem Asel Nazymbekovna participates in the international project: Creative Sparks. The international team includes representatives from the UK, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Poland.
Creative Sparks is the British Council's five-year program to develop international partnerships between universities and academic institutions in the UK and countries involved in the development of creative entrepreneurship skills for the purpose of the creative economy. The project involves the countries of the Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), the South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine.
At this stage, the survey: Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Music Industry was developed. The study is being conducted in collaboration with Henley Business School, the University of Reading, UK, and Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, Kazakhstan, as part of the Creative Spark Higher Education Enterprise Program supported by the British Council.
The aim of this study is to examine the social and economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the music industry in Kazakhstan. The target audience of the project is musicians, artists, freelancers, composers, singers and others related to this industry. By collecting this data, we will be able to expand knowledge about the possible impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as track the impact policy for the country as a whole.
