For the 75th anniversary of KNC named after Kurmangazy
from 13 to 16 February 2019 will be held
III Festival of “STRING MUSIC FESTIVAL”
February 13-violin music concert,
dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth Of V. Hess (Small hall)
February 14-concert of viola music dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of J.Fudiman (Small hall)
February 15-Concert of cello and double bass music,
dedicated to the 80th anniversary since the birth of D. Baspaeva (Small hall)
February 16-Gala concert
Concert of soloists of the Department of string instruments with the student Symphony orchestra of the KNC named after Kurmangazy (Big concert hall)
The concert program will include works by Western European, Russian and Kazakh composers.
The festival will include master classes of professors from Switzerland:
Denis Severin (cello) – Professor of the Higher School of Music in Geneva and the Higher School of Arts in Bern;
Marcin Habela (baritone) is Professor at the Graduate school of music in Geneva and at the Conservatory in Lyon.
The presentation of Thomastik strings (Director Attila Pasztor, Austria) will be held. On February 15 at 17.30
The purpose of the project: the disclosure of the creative potential of teachers and students, the development of a high level of solo performance, ensemble performance in a duet and in other compositions.
