Guzel Mukhametdinova's workshop

On October 30, 2024, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted a workshop by Guzel Mukhametdinova, Honored Artist of Tatarstan, Professor of the Department of Stringed Folk Instruments at the N. G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory, soloist and concertmaster of the State Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The workshop for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of the educational program "Traditional Musical Art" was organized by the Ancient Musical Instruments Department of the Faculty of Folk Music with the support of the International Department. The students had a unique opportunity to receive advice and guidance from a prominent musician and teacher. They learned about the traditions and peculiarities of the musical culture of Tatarstan, which expanded their musical horizons and deepened their understanding of folk art.
