MAINTENANCE LOANS guaranteed by the Financial Center JSC

Applicants who did not receive a state educational grant have a chance to pay for their education by applying for a state guaranteed maintenance loan. A maintenance loan may be obtained for study in Kazakhstan colleges and universities.

Basic conditions:

· it is an unsecured loan under the guarantee of the Financial Center JSC

· the guarantee size is from 50% to 100% of the principal amount and depends on the students performance;

· Education levels - higher and postgraduate education;

· Interest rate - 20% per annum;

· Grace period is provided for the payment of the principal debt. The principal amount is repaid at the end of study and 6 months after graduation.

· The loan amount is equal to the tuition fee;

· Loan registration - a credit line is opened for a student within the credit line, a loan is provided in tranches, one tranche is equal to the tuition fee per semester or academic year.

An agreement was signed with a second-tier bank providing the loans against the guarantee of Nurbank JSC.

Statistical data:

· The number of already provided guarantees - 7,287;

· The guarantee amount - 1.9 billion tenge;

· The loan amount - KZT 2.0 billion;
