Marina Karaseva's workshop took place

On December 3, 2024, in the Akhmet Zhubanov Small Hall, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, an exceptional workshop was held by the distinguished foreign scholar — Doctor of Sciences in Study of Art, Professor of the Music Theory Department at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Marina Karaseva. The topic of the workshop was "Metaphors and Synesthesia as Catalysts for Creative Learning in Music and other Arts”.

The workshop was attended by students, master’s and doctoral students of the educational programs "Musicology" and "Composition," as well as teaching staff of the Conservatory. Professor Marina Karaseva shared her professional and research experience and conducted interactive solfeggio exercises with them.
