Meeting with Colleagues from Saratov
On August 29, 2024, the administration of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory held an online meeting with representatives from the L. V. Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory.
The L. V. Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory is one of the oldest music institutions in Russia and a significant cultural establishment. Founded in 1912, it became the third conservatory in the country after those in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The conservatory has faculties of orchestral, conducting, vocal, and piano studies, as well as a center for the training of scientific-pedagogical personnel and additional education. The conservatory also includes a theater institute, a music school, and a children's music school.
The Kazakh National Conservatory was represented at the meeting by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Creative Activities and International Cooperation, Galiya Begembetova, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Methodology, Gulnar Abdirakhman, and Head of the International Department, Damir Urazymbetov. They discussed with Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Work and Security, Vyacheslav Bondarenko, Vice-Rector for Creative and Social-educational Work, Aleksey Koshelev, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Irina Polozova, and Head of the International Activities Department, Natalia Grigorieva, details of cooperation on academic mobility, opportunities for joint and dual degree programs, and other types of cooperation in science and culture.
As a result of the meeting, both parties expressed hope for the intensification of international cooperation in the fields of science, education, and creativity, as well as active participation in various events and conferences by both sides.
