Meeting with Representatives of Hong Kong Baptist University

On November 1, 2024, the administration of the Kazakh National Conservatory held an online meeting with representatives of the Academy of Music of the Hong Kong Baptist University with the support of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in the Hong Kong SAR and Macao (PRC).

The Conservatory was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work Vice-Rector for Scientific and Creative Activities and International Cooperation Galiya Begembetova, Head of the International Department Damir Urazymbetov. The University was represented by Director of the Academy of Music Eugene Birman, Senior Executive Director Brian Chan, Director of the International Office Yvonne Lee, and Assistant Director of the International Office Lorraine Ho. The Consulate General of Kazakhstan was represented by Vice Consul Aknur Zhaksybai.

During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between the organizations were discussed, including the conclusion of a Memorandum of Cooperation. Negotiations were also held on mutual academic mobility of students of different levels of education to strengthen professional ties and develop the academic potential of both sides.
