MEETINGS WITH STUDENTS WERE ORGANIZED

On September 1, 2021, at Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a number of meetings were held with the 1st year students of all specialties in order to clarify the format of training in the new academic year.
Deans of four faculties, heads of departments, consultants and advisers also met with 1st year students. They congratulated the students on a significant event in their lives - admission, new status and the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic year, talked about the mixed learning format due to the overhaul in two buildings of the Conservatory.

Students received detailed information regarding the order of training in credit technology and the organization of the educational process, were familiarized with the Conservatory website, academic calendar, timetable and RUEs and many others.

Freshmen received visual instructions on how to work with the "Platonus" automated information system, namely ещ
receive and upload homework, register for disciplines, for teachers,
formulate individual plans and learn information about academic performance, etc.

Deans paid particular attention to explaining the organization of the students’ current, intermediate and final certification,
prospects for professional growth, training opportunities under the academic mobility program.

The meetings were also devoted to issues related to the dormitory living rules and ethics, rules of using the library fund. The freshmen were also given the necessary information about the main structural divisions of the conservatory.

During the online meeting, students asked questions, showed their interest in how group theoretical subjects, classes in symphony and brass bands and folk instruments orchestra would be held. Deans of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory plan to regularly hold joint online meetings with students of all courses.
