On October 3, 2024, a creative evening featuring the world-renowned Swiss accordionist Yves Moulin took place in the Ye. Rakhmadiyev Great Concert Hall

The concert was held as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory , supported by the rector, Gaukhar Tasbergenova. The event was organized by the Kobyz and Bayan Department.

Yves Moulin captivated the audience with his mastery and unique program, blending classical music, jazz, as well as traditional and contemporary genres. The listeners were taken on a remarkable musical journey that showcased the limitless possibilities of the accordion.

Performances were also given by the accordion ensemble from the Kobyz and Bayan Department (led by the Honored Educator of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sultan Kozhakhmetov), international competition laureates Dauren Rayev (dombra), Bekezhan Rakishev (double bass), Nursultan Omarghazin (piano), and Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Galymzhan Narymbetov.
