PEOPLE'S ARTIST OF KAZAKHSTAN ROZA BAGLANOVOY IS 100 YEARS OLD

This year, the Soviet and Kazakh singer Roza Tazhibaevna Baglanova is 100 years old. In honor of the jubilee, a decision was made to hold events at the international and national levels.

Roza Baglanova was the first Kazakh singer to receive wide and popular recognition in the USSR. She performed before the soldiers of the Soviet army right on the front line. Her front-line concerts were a great success. On May 9, 1945, she took part in the Victory Concert in Berlin.

Having chosen the worship to the arts as her life's work, Roza Tazhibaevna who made a huge contribution to the development and popularization of the Kazakh folk music of the country, became a real legend. The name of the artist is forever inscribed in golden letters in the history of Kazakh art.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR and Kazakhstan, the hero of Kazakhstan, Roza Tazhibaevna Baglanova, it is planned to hold a number of cultural events. Exhibitions, "round tables", scientific seminars, curatorial hours, anniversary concerts, various contests of vocalists and performers at the republican and regional levels. Also jubilee concerts are being organized together with UNESCO in Moscow and Paris, Roza Baglanova’s International Vocal and R.Baglanova’s name will be given to the State Concert Organization - Kazakhconcert etc.

We are sure that a bright trace in the art and the rich musical heritage of Roza Baglanova will serve the next generations as a model of devotion to the musical profession for a long time to come.
