Referendum - the way to New Kazakhstan

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on holding a Nation-wide Referendum on June 5, 2022.

With his initiative the Head of State shows that he is launching a radical political modernization and proposes to take confident steps towards the "New Kazakhstan - Fair Kazakhstan". The principle of the "Listening State" will allow changing the relationship between state bodies and the population, and amendments will be made to a third of the articles of the Constitution. Therefore, every citizen of Kazakhstan must demonstrate strong commitment and make their own contribution to the building of a "Fair Kazakhstan".
