Students of the Conservatory returned from the II International «Navruz Taronalari» Contest with a victory
Recently in Fergana (Uzbekistan) the II International Contest of Performers on National Instruments was held. In total, 220 applications were received for participation in the contest. 32 out of them are from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan. KNC students showed high results in this contest. Instrumental skills were evaluated by a competent jury. 67 winners were revealed based on the results of the contest.
KNC students Samal Maidanova, Lyailya Makhsharkhan, Aidana Taiypova won the 1st prize. Aiaulym Zhumadollaeva, Aruzhan Nurzhankyzy and the Ensemble of Kazakh National Instruments took 2nd prize. Among two hundred contestants the third prize was taken by Dana Ataber, a student of Kurmangazy KNC.
The management of the Fergana regional branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan expresses gratitude to the entire staff and the Rector of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory for the positive results of educating creative youth who have achieved great success in the international contest. Also, noting the role of the Kazakh Conservatory in holding the 2nd International Contest for National Instruments Performers, the organizers expressed hope that the KNC students would take part in the contest next year. Along with a letter of sincere wishes from the Deputy Director of the Fergana regional branch of the SIA of Uzbekistan, Rashid Turgunbaev, a letter of thanks “For contest support” has been delivered too.
