The Academic and Methodological Manual "National Piano Schools" in the Collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan


On July 23, 2025, staff members of the International Programs and Cooperation Department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory donated three volumes of the academic and methodological manual, created as part of an international project, to the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The project involved three leading music universities from three countries — the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan), the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (Kazakhstan), and the L. V. Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory (Russia). The publication consists of three volumes: Volume 1, Almaty, Kazakhstan; Volume 2, Saratov, Russia; and Volume 3, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The publication includes analytical articles on the works of contemporary composers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia, sheet music materials, as well as video recordings of performances of the included pieces, accessible via QR codes.

The publication analyzes piano works by composers from the three countries — Adilzhan Tolykpayev, Akmal Safarov, Viktor Uspenskiy, Vladimir Korolevskiy, Vladimir Mishle, Gulzhan Uzenbayeva, Dilnoz Zakirova, Dilorom Amanullayeva, Lyazzat Zhumanova, Mikhail Kheyfets, Nagim Mendygaliyev, Rustam Abdullayev, Sergei Polozov, Taskyn Zharmukhamet, and Yuri Masin.
