The administration of the Conservatory participated in the Ministry of Education and Science seminar

On August 29, 2024, at the National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise, a training seminar titled "Defense of Doctoral Dissertations, Activities of Dissertation Councils, Kazakh Scientific Journals – New Regulatory Amendments" took place.

The administration of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory participated in the event, represented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Creative Activities and International Cooperation, Galiya Begembetova, the Head of the International Department, Damir Urazymbetov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Vocal and Conducting, Aizada Nussupova.

The event focused on explaining the key changes in the legal regulations concerning the activities of dissertation councils, doctoral defenses, and scientific journals. The meeting discussed topics including changes to the Rules for Awarding Degrees, innovations in the format of dissertation councils' work, and the features of the new List of Scientific Publications by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Science and Higher Education.
