The composer, Professor Bakhtiyar Amanzholov has passed away
Staff of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory brings its sincere condolences to the relatives, friends and colleagues of the Professor of the Department of Musicology and Composition, Art History PhD, Amanzholov, Bakhtiyar Tutkabaevich.
Bakhtiyar Amanzholov graduated from the composer class of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Since 1991 he has been a member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan. Genres such as symphonic Kuis, concerts, suites, prelude and fugue sonatas, pieces and vocal cycles occupied a significant place in the composer's work. He is the author of many works for orchestra, various ensembles, piano, dombra, kobyz, percussion, wind and string instruments. He wrote music for solo and chorus. Among the vocal works of the composer there are also works on the verses of A. Kunanbaev, O. Suleimenov, M. Zhumabaev, E. Zhapak and on the verses of foreign authors like Omar Khayyam and Garcia Lorca. He is the author of a number of teaching aids and scientific articles. Working at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, he devoted more than 40 years of his life to the training of more than one generation of musicians. Over the years, he gave lessons at P.Tchaikovsky Almaty Music College, A.Zhubanov and K.Baiseitova specialized music schools. Bakhtiyar Tutkabaevich is an experienced teacher who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakhstani professional music. The bright memory of Bakhtiyar Tutkabaevich will forever remain in our hearts.
