The meeting of the Conservatory's management with A. Aimagam betov and S. Kankurov

On the initiative of the deputy corps a meeting of the Conservatory management with the Chairman of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Aimagambetov and the Chairman of the branch of the party “AMANAT” Almaty S. Kankurov took place.

The visit was devoted to the study of key issues in the field of music education at all levels - from primary music schools to higher educational institutions. Special attention was paid to the improvement of legislation in the field of education taking into account the specifics of creative universities: the opening of the Doctor of Art specialized doctoral program, changes in the requirements for master's degree and publications of doctoral students, increasing the salaries of concertmasters.

Rector of the Conservatory Gaukhar Tasbergenova presented plans for the upcoming academic year, paying special attention to the preparation for the 80th anniversary of the Conservatory. In particular, plans were announced to organize a number of major events that will emphasize the significance and contribution of the Conservatory in the development of musical culture of the country.

At the end of the visit Askhat Aimagambetov expressed his readiness to continue support in solving urgent issues related to music education in Kazakhstan.
