The visit of Tyler Coburn from Columbia University (New York, USA)

On May 6, 2024, Tyler Coburn, Adjunct Associate Professor of the Columbia University School of Arts, paid a private visit to the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

Tyler Coburn's work as a researcher examines art, covering its various fields: painting, performance, sculpture, video, installations and more. The guest was given a tour of the halls of the Conservatory, where he was introduced to the history and achievements of the university. The visit was aimed at establishing contacts and discussing T. Coburn's cooperation with the international peer-reviewed journal Saryn, published by the Conservatory. He noted the functionality of the journal’s website, its clarity and ease of use, as well as good design.
