The winners of the XIV Republican Students Subject Olympiad in the «Piano» nomination were announced

March 28 and 29, 2022 in the Small Hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted the XIV Republican Students Subject Olympiad among university students in the specialty «6B02115 - Instrumental Performance», «Piano» nomination.
The chairman of the contest commission was Kadyrbekova, Gulzhamilya Ikhsanovna - People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor (SCADT), "Special Piano" Department, Kurmangazy KNC. The jury also included Ibraeva, Venera Maksimovna - Professor, Head of the "Special Piano" Department, Kurmangazy KNC, Ibraeva, Kamarsulu Yershatovna - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the "Music Education and Choreography" Department, Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Tleubergenov, Arman Aldabergenovich - Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD (6D040100 - Musicology), Associate Professor, «Special Piano» Department, Kurmangazy KNC and Aigalkayeva, Botagoz Bagdadovna - Associate Professor, «Special Piano» Department, Kurmangazy KNC.
During the contest audition at the interuniversity Republican Olympiad, 6 students of the «Special Piano» Department performed: Aknur Kasabekova (Laureate of the I degree, class of Professor G.I.Kadyrbekova), Karina Ismatullaeva (Laureate of the II degree, class of Senior Teacher R.S.Dyusembayeva.), Ainel Tulepova (Laureate of II degree, class of Senior Teacher L.A.Akshpekova), Alua Sukhambaeva (Laureate of III degree, class of Senior Teacher R.S.Dyusembaeva), Karina Bayramova (Laureate of III degree, Associte Professor G.T.Kurambayeva) and Abylai Appasov (participation award, Associte Professor R.Z.Ermekova).
All participants showed good results. The jury noted the preparedness of the participants, the technical equipment, the embodiment of the composer's artistic intention in the performance. In addition to the performance, the participants of the audition answered in writing the testing questions on the history of piano art, methods of teaching to play the instrument and Kazakh piano art. I would like to note that the free audition program made it possible to hear the originality of the musicians in the sound of their chosen works, as well as to see their versatile artistic worldview.
