The World Nations Piano Music Contest is Being Announced

The Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education - Zagir Ismagilov State Institute of Arts in Ufa announces about the
Vth Open International Piano Festival-Contest for musicians of different specialties: The World Nations Piano Music dedicated to Peaceful Creative Interaction.

1. The purpose of the 5th Open International Piano Festival-Contest is to draw attention to the piano course, determine its importance in the educational process, improve the teaching quality and strengthen ties between musical academic institutions of the Republic, Russia and overseas institutions.

2. The contest will be held on March 25-26, 2021 in the Chamber Hall of Zagir Ismagilov State Institute of Arts in Ufa.

2. Students of children's musical, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions of the Republic, regions of Russia and overseas institutions, with the piano not being their main specialty, can take part in the contest.

PROGRAM:

It is necessary to perform 2 pieces of different character including folk motives, in three formats, to choose from the following: 1) Solo performance; 2) Ensemble performance (ensemble of any composition); 3) One solo, one ensemble piece. The total duration of the audition shall be 10-15 minutes. (YouTube channel links to videos made in 2021, are acceptable for the contest).

The contest is held in the following age categories:

Age group I: children's music school, art schools.

Age group II: students of schools, colleges, secondary specialized educational institutions.

Age group III: students, undergraduates, graduate students of the university.

Age group IV: teachers.
