THE XIV REPUBLICAN SUBJECT-BASED STUDENT OLYMPIAD 2022 STARTED IN KURMANGAZY KNC

Today, on March 28, Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory began the work of the XIV Republican Subject-based Student Olympiad. The creative competition began with the «Piano» nomination. Further competitions in each nomination will be held according to the schedule on the appointed days.

Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory announced that the XIV Republican Subject-based Student Olympiad of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022 was held offline from March 28 to May 5 in 11 educational programs (15 nominations) in the field of "Humanities and Art". This time the creative competition will be held in the following programs: Instrumental performance, Traditional musical art, Art management, Instrumental performance, Vocal art, Music education, Traditional musical art, Composition and Conducting. As part of these programs, applicants will present their creative abilities to the jury in such areas as Piano, Dombra, Art Management, String Instruments, Opera Singing, Concert Chamber Singing, Wind and Percussion Instruments ( Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone (Alto), Saxophone (Tenor, Soprano), Trumpet, French horn, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, percussion instruments), "Performing skills of a music teacher", "Musical enlightenment", "Button accordion, accordion", "Kyl kobyz", "Folk singing", "Zhyrshy" (griot), "Composition", "Choral conducting". The venue for the Olympiad was the Small Hall, the Conference Hall, Building B, premisses 215-216, the Chamber Hall and the Grand Concert Hall of the Conservatory.

The organizers of the Olympiad are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the RSI Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of such a large-scale event is to develop the professional abilities of future specialists, stimulate the educational and cognitive activities of students, select and support talented and gifted students. Students of creative universities and music faculties of institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan take part in it.
