«Ustazga tartu» concert

Today, in A.Zhubanov small concert hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a «Ustazga Tartu» concert on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Rustem Sabyrov, was held. The solemn event was attended by the «Woodwind Quinte» under the leadership of the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanat Ermanov. The quintet consists of the laureate of international contests Akerke Omarova (flute), Kuralai Malimbayeva (oboe), Halyk Dauyr (bassoon) and Sanzhar Kadyrbekov (horn) (piano accompanist - Aliyar Otetileu).

The host of the concert was Natalia Goryacheva. The concert program included works by E.Koehler "Oriental Serenade", S. Rachmaninov "Vocalise", R. Schumann "Three Fantastic Pieces", G.Winter "Moon Hunt", F.Mendelssohn "Song Without Words", K. Debussy "Wildflowers”, A. Zemlinsky “The Past and Jokes”, J.Ibert “Three Pieces”, D. Shostakovich “Waltz No. 2” and popular works by N. Rimsky -Korsakov.

The festive event was held at a high level and the performers received a standing ovation from grateful spectators.
