VIRTUAL EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE 160TH ANNIVERSARY OF DINA NURPEISOVA


Kui is an invaluable musical heritage of the Kazakh people. The sages of antiquity said: “The Almighty put a piece of kui into the soul of every Kazakh from the moment of his birth.” One of such brightest representatives of the people of the Great Steppe is DINA NURPEISOVA, a well-known Kazakh dombyra performer, composer, People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR.

The Scientific and Information Library Service has prepared a virtual exhibition dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the famous kuishi, Kurmangazy Sagyrbaev’s student - Dina Nurpeisova.

The compositions of Dina Nurpeisova including “Bulbul”, “Kögentup”, “Bayzhuma”, “Zhіger”, “16 zhyl”, “Asem konyr”, “Toy bastar", “Mother's order”, “Sauynshy”, “March 8” and other kuis have become classics of Kazakh dombyra music.
