«Woodwind Quintet» became the winner of the Open International Competition «OPEN SPAIN»

The Woodwind Quintet of Kurmangazy National Conservatory won the 1st prize at the OPEN SPAIN Open International Competition, which was held May 1-7, 2022 in Costa Brava, Spain.

At this event, from the part of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory took part:

1. Ermanov Zh.R. - Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Wind and Percussion Instruments Department;

2. Halyk Dauir - 2nd year student;

3. Malimbaeva Kuralai - 4th year student;

4. Sanzhar Kadyrbekov - 4th year student;

5. Omarova Akerke - 3rd year student.

This contest is a unique event providing an opportunity to achieve and win worthy European awards. The concept of connecting the contest with the festival provides an ideal opportunity to take part in international creative contests, become the winner of an international contest, learn from others and also feel the atmosphere of this international event by attending master classes, and participate in joint performances. The founders of this international contest are the Spanish festival committee Fiestalonia Milenio, City Hall of Lloret de Mar.
