You are invited to take part in the II «Europe-Asia» International Piano Contest
Contest organizer:
Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Zagir Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts", Special Piano Department.
Goals and objectives of the contest:
· identification and support of gifted children and talented youth;
· Promoting classical and contemporary composers’ music;
· improvement of musical and pedagogical traditions in the education in the sphere of culture;
· exchange of pedagogical experience and creative communication in the field of performing arts and improvement of pedagogical skills.
Contest nominations:
"Piano solo";
"Piano Ensemble".
Contest conditions:
The contest will be held on March 29-31 in a remote format based on video recordings. Students of children's music schools, art schools, professional educational institutions and graduate students of educational institutions of higher education, teachers in the following age groups can take part in the contest:
Age group I - 10-12 years;
Age group II - 13-15 years;
Age group III - 16-19 years;
Age group IV - 20-23 years;
Age group V - from 24 years old and without age restrictions.
Program requirements:
"Piano solo" nomination:
Age group I: a polyphonic piece, an instructive etude and a piece by a composer of the region represented by the participant (the total duration should be no more than 10-15 minutes);
Age group II: polyphonic piece, long-form piece (1 or 2-3 parts of the sonata, rondo, variations), instructive etude, a piece of the participant's choice (a piece by the composer of the region represented by the participant is possible) total duration should be no more than 15-20 minutes);
Age group III: polyphonic work, long-form piece (1 or 2-3 parts of the sonata, rondo, variations), instructive (concert) etude, piece at the choice of the participant (a piece by the composer of the region represented by the participant is possible) total duration should be no more than 15-20 minutes;
Age group IV: polyphonic work, long-form piece (entire sonata, rondo, variations), concert etude (total duration should be no more than 25 minutes);
Group V: performance of a solo program at the participant's choice, with the obligatory inclusion of a performance of a long-form piece in its entirety (total duration should be no more than 30 minutes)
"Piano Ensemble" nomination:
Two diverse works (total duration should be no more than 15 minutes);
All compositions of the competitive program shall be performed by heart. It is not allowed to perform two works of the same author.

Contest Jury:
The contest jury membership consists of the faculty of the Special Piano Department of Zagir Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts and honoroued guests from foreign countries.
The titles of laureates and diplomats of the Contest shall be awarded according to the results of the Contest in each age group. The best performances of individual compositions, the best pedagogical work can be noted by decision of the jury.
Video requirements:
Files with video recordings of the contest program shall be accepted only through a link to a YouTube channel with open access via the link.
Video recordings must be made with a good quality acoustic instrument (piano or grand piano), strictly without editing. The contest program shall be recorded in one file, without stopping video shooting between works, which would correspond to a real competitive test.

Financial conditions:
Registration fee: soloists - 1500 rubles, ensemble - 2000 rubles.
Payment for participation shall be made according to the details of the Institute no later than 1 day before the contest. In case of refusal of the participant to participate in the contest or late submission of documents for participation for any reason, the registration fee shall not be refundable.
