The Scientific and Editorial Department (further SED) was established within the structure of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory in 2025. The SED provides organizational, publication, and informational support for the activities of the Saryn international peer-reviewed journal, which implements publication projects in the online space and printed editions. The main activities of the SED are:
1. preparation for publication (articles collection, author liaison, reviewer liaison, editing, layout, design, website content management of sarynjournal.kz, and other related tasks) of the Saryn international peer-reviewed journal;
2. online publication of the Saryn international peer-reviewed journal on the official website sarynjournal.kz;
3. publication of the Saryn international peer-reviewed journal in printed (paper) format;
4. external representation of the Conservatory on matters related to the activities of the university's scientific publication Saryn in databases, scientific representative offices, supervising ministries, and other organizations focused on art studies and publication development;
5. coordination of technical support for the official website sarynjournal.kz;
6. coordination of cooperation between the Saryn journal and educational, research, and cultural organizations of neighboring and far abroad countries, as well as the Republic of Kazakhstan;
7. attracting interested parties (authors, reviewers, editors) from neighboring and far abroad countries to the development of Saryn's activities, and other related tasks.
