Student life at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory is a rich and multifaceted environment that promotes not only professional development, but also personal development of students. The Conservatory provides high-quality musical education and creates favorable conditions for the development of students' creative and intellectual potential in various fields.
An important component of student life is the system of psychological and pedagogical support. Within the framework of this system, students are provided with the services of a qualified psychologist, as well as medical care in accordance with the signed memorandum of cooperation between the Conservatory and the Republican Family Medical Center. At the same time, the Service for Social and Educational Work and Youth Policy provides assistance in solving pressing social issues, including adaptation to the educational process, leisure activities and the provision of necessary resources.
A significant role in the life of students is played by the student government, represented by the Youth Affairs Committee and the Student Council for Dormitories. These structures ensure effective interaction between students, promote initiative and actively participate in solving topical issues of youth policy. The Youth Affairs Committee includes the chairmen of the Conservatory's student clubs and communities. The activities of the student government cover a wide range of areas, including the organization and development of various student clubs.
Thus, the volunteer club "Meirim" promotes the implementation of social projects and the participation of students in charitable initiatives. The anti-corruption club "Ulagatty Urpak" is focused on the formation of high moral values among students and the development of a culture of honesty. The Media Community Media Club provides opportunities for mastering competencies in the field of journalism, photography and videography, as well as coverage of significant events at the Conservatory. The theater club "Debut" promotes the disclosure of students' creative potential through acting. The literary and intellectual club "Shamshyrak" is a platform for discussions, literary creativity and self-education. The conservatory also has a Club for international students called "World Connect", which promotes the integration of students from different countries into the academic and cultural environment of the university. Additionally, the Student Assembly of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory was established, providing expanded opportunities for intercultural interaction and youth cooperation. In the framework of cooperation with urban youth organizations, a memorandum was signed with the Student Alliance of Almaty, and an Ombudsman representing the interests of students of the Conservatory was appointed.
In addition to academic and social activities, considerable attention is paid to the physical development of students. The conservatory has sports sections for chess, togyz kumalak, darts, football, volleyball and other sports. We are particularly proud of the conservatory's football team, which annually demonstrates high results, becoming the winner of national and city tournaments.
In general, student life at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory goes far beyond the educational process. It is a comprehensive system that promotes the comprehensive development of students, the formation of leadership skills, professional socialization and active participation in socially significant projects, which further lays a solid foundation for a successful professional career of graduates.
