In the framework of the Erasmus + program Vice-Rector for Science work and International Cooperation of Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory Begembetova G. visited the Vigo Conservatory of Music (Vigo, Spain)
From 4 to 10 February 2019, Vice-Rector for Science work and International Cooperation of Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory, Candidate of Art Criticism and Associate Professor of Musicology and Composition Department Begembetova G. visited the Vigo Conservatory of Music (Vigo, Spain) in the framework of the Erasmus + program.
During the trip were given lectures on the history of Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory, on the history of the formation and development of Kazakh opera art, also participation in master class.
During the stay in Vigo there were discussions with the management of Conservatory, also about the further action plan for the participation of our students and teachers in various programs on academic mobility, exchange between universities.

On January 28, 2019, students of 2-3 courses of the faculty of instrumental performance in the specialty "String Instruments" of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory returned from the Conservatory of VIGO (Vigo, Spain). Students shared with their impressions and experience which gained in a foreign university partner during the 1 semester.

Classical music ensemble "Camerata of Kazakhstan"and Kazakh national Conservatory named after Kurmangazy presents a joint project "International master class" (violin) with the participation of professors from Switzerland:
Pavel Vernikov is a Professor at the Vienna Conservatory and the Swiss higher school of music.

Svetlana Makarova-laureate of international competitions, Professor of the Lozan Higher School of music.

Sherniyaz Musahan is a laureate of international competitions, Creator and artistic Director of the chamber music orchestra "Young Eurasian Soloists".

Yana Ozolina-laureate of international competitions, associate Professor of the Basel Conservatory.

For the first time in international practice, violin master classes will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra.
The participants of the master classes Temis Barrutia Alumine (Argentina), Marie-Sophie Baumgartner (Switzerland), James Warren (Ireland), Sayaka Nakajima (Japan), Vaigaile Dainaciute (Lithuania), Anastasia Pentina (Russia), Christa - Maria Stangorra (Germany), Yuliia Van (South Korea), Ivan Smirnov (Russia), Aleksandra Khmara (Ukraine), Duishenbayeva S., Karatayeva V., Shildebaev A., Rysbedi Zh., Oserbek A., Omar A. (Kazakhstan).
The aim of this project is to improve professional skills, information and practical assistance to teachers, students and pupils of music schools in Almaty.
During the week, master classes with professors from Switzerland, master classes accompanied by the Camerata Kazakhstan classical music ensemble, concerts by both professors themselves, and the best violinists participating in master classes will be held in the classrooms and halls of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.

The Republican project "Best student", organized by the Association of legal entities in the form of the Association national movement «Bobek» with the support of the Congress of youth of Kazakhstan.

"Best student-2018" in the field of «Art»

Gimarat Ernazar – the student of 1 course of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy on the piano department.
Creative activity of the student was started in 2006. During his activity, Ernazar became a multiple winner of national and international competitions, festivals and Olympiads:
•    2009 – winner of I degree 5–th international festival-contest “Artistic summer at the castle” Western Poland
•    2010 – winner of the I degree of the 44th Republican contest of young pianists of Almaty
•    2013 – winner of the II degree of the Dubai international festival competition
•    2013 – winner of the I degree of the 3rd Republican competition of pianists
"Piano Forum Kazakhstan" Almaty
•    2014 – winner of the I degree of the international competition-festival "Art Olympia" in Alanya
•    2014 – Winner of thank letters carried out of the concert “Tiaris-Antalyada” the Republic of Turkey
•    2016 – diploma of the I degree of the Republican Olympiad in "Pedagogy and psychology" in Almaty
•    2017 – winner of the I degree of the 5th Republican competition for young pianists, specialty "Piano" Almaty
•    2017 – winner of the I degree of the Republican Olympiad in the specialty “Pedagogy and psychology" in Almaty

We wish success for our students!
In the framework of the international project " Music and Artistic Research Knowledge Network Eurasia CPEA-LT-2016/10082" MA students of 1 academic year by the specialty "Instrumental Performance" Tokmurziyeva Dinara and Mukhadiyev Gaukhar were sent to the University Bergen (Norway) for semester studies on academic mobility (07.01.- 20.05.2019)

The results of the "Altyn Art" competition of composers were annorced
On 7 December 2018 in the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory as part of the «Altyn Art» composer’s competition, was held a round table: "Composer - Performer - Listener: Trinity Today". In the first part of the Round Table were announced the winners of competition, in which took part more than 40 works from all Kazakhstan. This competition was held with the support of the «Art-Mirai» foundation, whose chairman and organizer is Assel Imae (graduate of the Conservatory). Highly professional jury of the composer’s competition headed by the Chairman of the Composers Union of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kydyrbek B.K. announced the results:
> 1. Azimbek Dzhambaev, Astana, “Variations – Variations composition” - I degree diploma and gift certificate to the tune of 150 000 tg.
> 2. Maxim Khlebov, Pavlodar, "Dance of Wanderers" composition - II degree diploma and gift certificate to the tune of 100 000 tg.
> 3. Karina Izmailova, Astana, “Allegro” composition - III degree diploma and gift certificate to the tune of 50 000 tg.
Radio “Classic” also identified its favorites of the “Altyn Art” competition, awarding the following nominees with special presents:
> 1.Lira Bekbolatova, “Fiorellin” composition;
> 2. Raushan Kali, "Fugato"composition.
The second part of the Round Table was conducted by moderators, one of the organizers of this event, doctoral students: Bekenova AS, Associate Professor of the Department of String Instruments and Berzhaprakov D. B., Lecturer of the Department of Musicology and Composition.
The round table was held in order to recognize the compositional art of Kazakhstan and to attract wide public attention to the work of composers.
At the Round table were highlighted and accentuated the following topics:
Composer-performer-listener: interaction in the conditions of modernity;
Creativity of Kazakhstani composers of the XXI century: new musical language;
Also in the Round Table took an active part the students and professors of conservatory The organizers and participants of the Round Table thank the leadership of the university for their support in carrying out this event.
