The organizers of the "Tsinandali Classical Music Festival", Georgia, announce a video audition of talented young musicians from Kazakhstan for the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra (PCYO), aged 18 to 28 in order to select the best musicians

On March 5, 2024, a working meeting took place at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory between the administration of the Conservatory and representatives of the Almaty Tourism Bureau under the Akimat of Almaty city – International MICE Tourism Development Consultant Helena Mahuas and the Chief Manager of the International MICE Tourism Department Leila Ashimova.

 

On March 5, 2024, at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a meeting of the Conservatory's administration took place with the distinguished guest, Alexei Vasiliev, the Rector of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Professor of the cello, harp, double bass, and Quartet Department, and Honored Artist of Russia.

On March 1, 2024, a lecture by YouTube producer Alexander Melentyev took place for students and teaching staff of the Conservatory, entitled "Secrets of Production in the YouTube Sphere – From the First Shoot to the Golden Button with a Million Subscribers.".

From February 29th to March 1st, 2024, a delegation from the Conservatorio Statale di Musica di Roma “Santa Cecilia”, consisting of nine members, visited the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory to discuss issues of joint development in creative education and cultural relations between the countries.

Students from the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, having successfully competed, have been selected to participate in an academic mobility program funded by the national budget. 

On February 27, 2024, a working meeting took place at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory with the administration of the Conservatory and representatives from the Almaty Tourism Bureau under the auspices of the Almaty City Administration. The delegation from the Almaty Tourism Bureau included Ainur Turezhanova, the head of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Tourism Department, and Leyla Ashimova, the chief manager of the international MICE Tourism Department. The meeting was conducted by Galiya Begembetova, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Creative Activities and International Cooperation, Damir Urazymbetov, the Head of the International Department, and Sergazy Yergazy, the Senior Manager of the International Department.

On February 27, 2024, a two-day delegation from our partner institution, the Nukus branch of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Nukus, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan), visited the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. The delegation included the Director of the Branch, Rudakiy Allanbayev and associate professor Polat Tnybayev.

From February 19 to 23, 2024 at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted creative meetings, workshops and lectures by the famous Polish conductor, Professor of the The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music (Krakow), Doctor (habitability) Stanisław Krawczyński. The conductor's visit took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program.
