On December 3, 2024, in the Akhmet Zhubanov Small Hall, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, an exceptional workshop was held by the distinguished foreign scholar — Doctor of Sciences in Study of Art, Professor of the Music Theory Department at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Marina Karaseva. The topic of the workshop was "Metaphors and Synesthesia as Catalysts for Creative Learning in Music and other Arts”.
On November 28, 2024, a joint scholarly project between the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory and the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place a round table titled "Problems of the Synthesis of Arts and National Culture", dedicated to celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Conservatory.
On December 4, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a workshop will be held in the conference hall by invited international scholar (Dr. Hab.) Ulrich Morgenstern. Dr. Morgenstern is a Professor in the Folk Music and Ethnomusicology Research Department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria).
On December 3, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a workshop will be held in the conference hall by renowned international scholar Dr. Marina Karaseva. Dr. Karaseva is a Doctor of Sciences in Study of Art, Professor of the Music Theory Department at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, and an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. The topic of the workshop is "Metaphors and Synesthesia as Catalysts for Creative Learning in Music and Other Arts.".
The International Department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, based on the Regulations on Academic Mobility, announces a competition among 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students of the Art Management Educational Programm to participate in the academic mobility program at the expense of the republican budget. The studies will take place during the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year at the partner institution, the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Moscow). 2 scholarship places are available. The conservatory will cover the cost of airfare, accommodation for 120 days, and health insurance. Additionally, the student’s stipend will continue if they successfully pass their exams.
On November 20, 2024, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted an information session led by Laura Paluanova, coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Kazakhstan, organized by the International Department.
On November 20, 2024, an information session of the international department dedicated to the possibilities of academic mobility for students was held in the Akhmet Zhubanov Small Hall of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
