On January 9, 2025, staff from the International Department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory donated issues of the Saryn international peer-reviewed journal to the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

International partners from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Russia, Serbia, and Uzbekistan extended their New Year greetings to the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

On December 2, 2024, the International Conference for Researches and Practitioners titled "Art in the Post-Global World: From Metatraditions to Metaculture," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, took place. Section meetings within the conference were held in the halls of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Conservatory.
Composer Stefano Corvino (Luxembourg) presented students and teachers of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory with the author's musical composition "Carnival Fugue" for string quartet (Op. 3).
On December 4, 2024, as part of the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a workshop was conducted by the esteemed foreign scholar, Doctor of Sciences on Study of Arts (Dr. Hab.), and Professor at the Department of Folk Music Studies and Ethnomusicology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Ulrich Morgenstern (Vienna, Austria).
On December 3, 2024, in the Akhmet Zhubanov Small Hall, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, an exceptional workshop was held by the distinguished foreign scholar — Doctor of Sciences in Study of Art, Professor of the Music Theory Department at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Marina Karaseva. The topic of the workshop was "Metaphors and Synesthesia as Catalysts for Creative Learning in Music and other Arts”.
On November 28, 2024, a joint scholarly project between the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory and the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place a round table titled "Problems of the Synthesis of Arts and National Culture", dedicated to celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Conservatory.

On December 4, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a workshop will be held in the conference hall by invited international scholar (Dr. Hab.) Ulrich Morgenstern. Dr. Morgenstern is a Professor in the Folk Music and Ethnomusicology Research Department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria).

On December 3, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a workshop will be held in the conference hall by renowned international scholar Dr. Marina Karaseva. Dr. Karaseva is a Doctor of Sciences in Study of Art, Professor of the Music Theory Department at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, and an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. The topic of the workshop is "Metaphors and Synesthesia as Catalysts for Creative Learning in Music and Other Arts.".
