Meeting with Partner University Colleagues in Bratislava

On September 25, 2024, the staff of the International Department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory held an online meeting with colleagues from a partner university — the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Bratislava, Slovakia).

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the academic mobility of the Conservatory's students and teaching staff, academic internships for graduate students, and the prospects of expanding cooperation between the institutions. The Kazakh Conservatory was represented by the Head of the International Department, Damir Urazymbetov, and the International Relations Manager, Zhaniya Warren. The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava was represented by the Vice-Dean for Research and International Relations, Peter Martinček, and his colleague, composer Marián Zavarský.

The organization and development of educational and academic projects will enable both institutions to gain new experiences in collaboration and professional development abroad. In the spring of 2025, colleagues from Bratislava plan to visit the Kazakh Conservatory.
